About the Celebration of Youth Sports Awards Banquet

Join the Cape Girardeau Parks & Recreation Foundation in honoring excellence in Youth Sports. Awards are presented to Cape Girardeau Parks & Recreation Departments’ youth sports leagues, Cape Youth Tackle Football and local travel sports teams based on the following criteria: dedication, development, effort, leadership, performance, positive attitude, respect, sportsmanship and teamwork. The program includes a silent auction, dinner provided by Olive Garden, guest speakers, audio/visual presentation and awards ceremony. The banquet for the 2026 calendar year will be held on January 22, 2027 (subject to change) at the Osage Centre starting at 6:00 p.m. Nominations are due November 18, 2026.

Ticket pricing is as follows: 

  • Adults $12 by 1/17/27 | $15 from 1/18/27 or later
  • Child (15 & under) $10
