About Cape’s Parks & Trails
The City of Cape Girardeau maintains 27 parks covering over 662.5 acres. Many parks share common facilities like playground equipment and shelters, and have their own characteristics. Some parks feature shelters that are available to rent. Park rental information is to the right. A comprehensive park list is located below. We hope you enjoy our beautiful parks!
Parks Office & Shelter Reservations
For inquiries about City of Cape Girardeau parks and park shelters, please contact the Parks & Recreation Department’s main office at the A. C. Brase Arena. All park shelters and park area special event permits must be completed in person at the Park’s main office. Shelter reservations are non-refundable and can only be reserved once a day.
