Get ready for a yummy, fun filled class! Each week, you will make (and eat!) a special treat while you learn about measuring, why food changes as it cooks, and of course, kitchen safety. Homeschool Art

Music & Movement
Ages newborn-7 years
Join us for a variety of movement and music-based activities, such as dancing,
ball bouncing, using a stretchy band, parachute, hula hoops, singing songs, playing instruments, story time and more. Babies will participate in songs, instruments, floor activities, rhymes, tickle games, and story time to help reinforce developmental skills such as eye contact, verbal skills, and coordination. Youth Sports Classes
Homeschool P.E. (Ages 5-15)
Attention all home schooling families! The Cape Girardeau Parks & Recreation Department will be conducting a Physical Education class for all students who would like to attend. Homeschoolers will be participating in activities such as baseball, basketball, bowling, dodgeball and much more! All ages will participate at the same time. Hapkido Core 1 & 2 By Lee H. Park Hapkido (Ages 5-9)
Hapkido Core has 2 levels: Core Class 1 (ages 5-6) and Core Class 2 ( ages 7-9). Classes are a basic introduction to martial arts and work on improving balance, mobility and respect. Other key areas of focus include kicking, punching and bully-proofing your child. All classes are taught at Lee H. Park Hapkido (1131 N. Kingshighway Suite 2K).

Judo Class
Join us for a 6 week Judo class for children ages 6 and up! This class will be led by the owner of Moo Sul Kwan Cape Girardeau Martial Arts School, Doug Johnson. Mr. Johnson was a Tae Kwon Do instructor for 29 years and has an 8th degree Black Belt in Tae Kwon Do and Hapkido. This class covers essential skills for Judo including throws, holds, takedowns, and groundwork. Judo has been documented to improve: balance, self-esteem, coordination and self-control. Pre-Hapkido By Lee H. Park Hapkido (Ages 10-15)
Pre-Hapkido is an introduction class to Hapkido for ages 10-15. This class provides the basic skills and foundation that students will need to transition to the adult Hapkido class Students will learn self-discipline, self-respect, kicking, punching, throwing, falling, basic self-defense & general exercise. All classes are taught at Lee H. Park Hapkido (1131 N. Kingshighway Suite 2K).

Intermediate Tennis (Ages 8-12)
This is a great class to improve your tennis skills! The instructor will provide a balance of instruction and practice. Emphasis will be on proper grip, stance, swing, serve, and ball placement as well as hitting with control for depth and power. Please bring your own racket, water, and appropriate footwear. Pee-Wee Sports (Ages 3-5)

Start Smart Basketball
Ages 3-5

Teen Classes
Safe Sitter (Ages 11+)
The Safe Sitter course prepares students in grades 6th-8th to be home alone, watch younger siblings, or babysit. This course is designed with interactive lessons that will help students learn life-saving skills, understand how to handle emergencies, and know how to treat injuries. Please bring a lunch!
