Fall Youth Soccer

Grades Pre-K to 8th

Have a child interested in soccer? We have the league for you! Pre-K to 8th grade divisions are offered. Games are played on Tuesday, Wednesday & Thursday evenings and Saturdays. Pre-K games will only be on Saturdays. There will be a coaches meeting on August 6 at 6:00 p.m. at the Shawnee Park Center. Contact Brian at bdavidson@cityofcape.org for more information.

Adult Soccer

Adult Indoor Soccer League (Ages 18+)

Compete in the summer Adult Indoor Soccer League at the Cape Girardeau SportsPlex. Men’s and coed divisions offered. Team-entry only. Games are played on Sunday afternoons and evenings. For more information contact sportsplex@cityofcape.org.

Southern Spring Shootout
(Kindergarten – 8th Grade)

The City of Cape Girardeau Parks and Recreation Department is hosting The Southern Spring Shootout, an invitational soccer tournament for recreational all-star teams, at the Shawnee Park Sports Complex in Cape Girardeau, MO the weekend of May 15-17, 2026. We invite you to send teams in one or all of the age groups (listed below) that will best represent your recreational soccer team(s). Trophies will be provided for 10 players on each roster for Kindergarten, 14 players for grades 1st – 4th and 18 players on each roster for grades 5th – 8th. Additional trophies for larger teams will not be provided. Participation medals will be given to all players in Kindergarten and first and second place trophies will be awarded in each age group 1st – 8th to the appropriate teams.
