Capaha Park
Capaha Park is oldest park in Cape Girardeau's park system, opening in 1914. This anchor park is located near Southeast Missouri State University at Broadway and West End Boulevard and covers over 39 acres. The park features a collegiate size baseball field and is home to the Capaha Baseball team, the longest running baseball team in the United States since 1894, the Southeast Missouri State University Redhawks baseball team, and the Cape Catfish, a prospect league team. The park contains a basketball court, three play structures, one restroom facility, three rentable shelters, a band shell, the Capaha Garden, a 3.5 acre fishing pond, and a disc golf course.
