Welcome to the Citizen Services Department, a complex group of divisions and services aligned around providing WOW-level services to our citizens and fellow public servants!

The Citizen Services Department is also the Office of the City Clerk and is responsible for the administration and record keeping functions for all City Council actions.  

Our Mission

  • To maintain and administer all city records and respond to records requests in a timely manner.
  • To issue all business and liquor licenses in an efficient manner.
  • To issue approximately 17,000 residential and commercial utility bills on a monthly basis and provide exceptional customer service to our utility customers.
  • To promote the city through print and media and assist other departments in promoting their activities and programs through innovative advertising, online ads, email and print newsletters.
