Welcome to AutoPay, the hassle-free alternative to City utility bill payment.
Securely enroll online in automatic city utility (water, sewer and/or trash) bill payment with the City of Cape Girardeau. When enrolling, the customer is authorizing his/her financial institution to automatically deduct the amount due each month for his/her utility bill. It can take up to one billing cycle to enroll the account for AutoPay.
Paper Enrollment: Download and complete Auto Pay Enrollment Form and submit to the Utility Billing Office
How AutoPay Works
On the due date, typically two weeks after receiving the bill in the mail, the due amount will be automatically deducted from the enrolled checking or savings account. No debit/credit cards can be used at this time. Cancel this service at any time.
How to Find Account and Customer Numbers
The ACCOUNT and CUSTOMER numbers are on the top of the monthly bill.
