Meetings are called by the District Chairman; however, the Downtown Cape Girardeau Community Improvement District is required to hold at least one meeting a year, to which all individuals owning property and/or operating a municipally licensed business within the boundaries of the district are actively encouraged to attend with the expressed purpose of reviewing and updating the plan.

Agendas are posted at least 24 hours prior. Minutes are posted in draft form, later replaced with approved minutes after the following meeting.
