The Historic Preservation Commission recently wrapped up a tour, also referred to as the Stories in Stone event, which showcased the Old Lorimier Cemetery and introduced those who participated to several important figures throughout the history of cape.

The HPC walked along a preset route with an audience of 73 people and read facts, summaries, and other information about roughly a dozen significant historical figures as well as their families. This year’s turnout was one of the highest for an HPC-guided tour to date, with the City hoping to raise numbers even further next year.
