Litter will collect on private property or nearby curbs and ditches. Our team is working to keep streets clear and property owners accountable. We need your help to keep Cape clean.
What You Can Do, and How We Can Help!
• Secure your trash – bag trash, keep carts closed and upright.
• Keep your property clear of litter, and help others if you can.
• Report nuisance properties online or by calling 573-339-6311. By law, owners receive a 10-day notice to clear nuisances before further action is taken.
• Schedule a Wednesday Special Pickup – each residential customer gets one FREE each year! Call 573-339-6351 to schedule.
• Sign up for the Friends of Parks and Great Cape Clean Up event April 18, 2026.
• Adopt a Street – We will supply bags and dispose of them when you are done. Participants are in charge of coordinating their group and must have pickup events at least monthly. Learn more and apply.
