The Public Art Committee launches the fifth
Cape Girardeau Outdoor Sculpture Exhibition on
Thursday, April 12, along a nine-block span of Broadway. All are invited to a reception at 5:30 p.m. on April 12 to celebrate the exhibit's opening.
Glenn Williams, Area Head of the Sculpture Department at University of Wisconsin-Milwaukee led the jurying process of the 2018 Cape Girardeau Outdoor Sculpture Exhibit with input from the Public Art Committee; a group that consists of representatives from the Arts Council of Southeast Missouri, Old Town Cape, City of Cape Girardeau, and Chris Wubbena, professor of Sculpture at Southeast Missouri State University.
