Extra Trash
Got extra trash from the holidays? Between Dec. 26 and Jan. 9th, Cape Public Works will pick up a reasonable amount of extra trash. Just sit your bagged extra trash next to your cart on trash day (not on top of it). Be sure the lid is closed to avoid spillage. Staff will dump your cart, put the extra items in the cart and then dump the cart again. The amount of “extra trash” is limited to 3 to 4 bags that will fit inside the cart. Carts will only be dumped twice, so please consider recycling as much as possible.
