Southern Spring Shootout
The City of Cape Girardeau Parks and Recreation Department is hosting the Southern Spring Shootout, an invitational soccer tournament, at the Shawnee Park Sports Complex in Cape Girardeau, MO the weekend of May 16-18, 2025. We invite you to send teams in one or all of the age groups (Kindergarten thru 8th Grade) that will best represent your recreational soccer team(s). For questions regarding team eligibility, email [email protected] or call 573-339-6606. Standings will be kept for grades 1st-8th. Make checks payable to the City of Cape Girardeau.

Fall Youth Soccer League (Pre-K - 8th Grade)
Have a child interested in soccer? We have the league for you! Pre-K to 8th grade divisions are offered. Games are played on Tuesday, Wednesday & Thursday evenings and Saturdays. There will be a coaches meeting on August 14, 2025 at 6:00 p.m. at the Shawnee Park Center. Contact Brian at [email protected] for more information.

Adult Soccer

Summer Adult Indoor Soccer League (Ages 18+)
Compete in the summer Adult Indoor Soccer League at the Cape Girardeau SportsPlex. Men’s and coed divisions offered. Team-entry only. Games are played on Sunday afternoons and evenings. For more information contact Adam at [email protected] or at 573-339-6731.
