During winter weather events, Public Works crews clear streets in
order of priority until all streets are passable with caution.
The City of Cape Girardeau Fire Department delivers fire, rescue, emergency medical, and emergency management services to our community of more than 39,000 residents and about 60,000 daily visitors from four fire stations strategically located throughout the City. These services are delivered through prevention, preparation, response, and evaluation activities carried out by our team of highly trained professionals. The Department operates in accordance with established values, vision, and mission.
Physical testing and interviews will be scheduled based on department needs.
