Sec. 16-101 LEVY OF TAX
There is hereby levied a license tax on hotels and motels in amount equal to four per cent (4%) of gross receipts derived from transient guests for sleeping accommodations and on restaurants/convenience stores in an amount equal to one per cent (1%) of gross receipts derived from the retail sale of prepared foods. This license tax shall be in addition to all other license taxes which are applicable to hotels, motels, restaurants, and convenience stores.
