Battalion 1 2004 Chevrolet Suburban with command module and communications equipment used by the on duty shift Battalion Chief.

Engine 1 2004 E-One Pumper, 1500 GPM Pump, with 750 gallons of water, powered by a 400 HP Cummins Engine.

Ladder 1 2005 E-One 100 foot straight aerial ladder, pre-piped waterway, 233 feet of ground ladders and a wide assortment of firefighting, rescue, salvage tools and equipment.

 

Rescue 1 1987 International / Hackney Truck.  This vehicle was donated by Bluff City Beer Company and refurbished with the help of several local businesses.

Brush 1 1988 Ford 1-ton, 4 x 4 Utility Truck with skid unit.

 

 

Marine 1 2006 21-foot Boston Whaler Fire Rescue Boat, equipped with twin 200 HP Mercury outboard motors, radar GPS, depth finder, city and marine radio.  Also equipped with 300 GPM fire pump, and Akron stinger nozzle.

Our water rescue capabilities are enhanced by a variety of watercraft including an 18 foot aluminum johnboat, 14 foot Mercury inflatable, and a pair of Yamaha WaveRunners.  The WaveRunners are on loan annually through a partnership with Bootheel Buggies and the Cape Girardeau Kiwanis Club.

M&H Sales, Sappington Pro Outdoor in Jackson has loaned our department two Kawasaki Mule Utility Vehicles.  This is a program Kawasaki has for public safety “patrol, enforcement, rescue, or education”.  These vehicles will be used to help deliver medical services at events such as the SEMO Fair, Liberty Fest, and the Air Show; and, will be handy for off-road injuries (bike trail, hiking trails, etc) and shuttling equipment at some pro-longed incidents such as HazMat.
