Development Services

The Development Services Department shall coordinate City activities pertaining to community and economic development, provide staff to the Planning and Zoning Commission, implement the comprehensive development plan, administer land use and zoning regulations, perform building inspections and enforce the City’s building codes, and administer grant programs relating to community development.  In addition, the Department performs such other funcations as may be prescribed by the City Manager.

The Development Services Department consists of three divisions:

• Engineering Services
• Inspection Services
• Planning Services
