When are City Council meetings?
The Cape Girardeau City Council meets on the first and third Mondays of each month at City Hall (401 Independence). A study session begins at 5:00 p.m. and the regular meeting begins at 7:0 0 p.m. Both meetings are open to the public.

The Cape Girardeau City Council meets at 7: 0 0 p.m. on the first and third Mondays of each month at City Hall (401 Independence).

If the topic you would like to speak on is on the agenda for that meeting, you may approach the microphone when the Mayor asks if there is anyone who would like to make an appearance before the Council on items listed on the agenda.

If your topic is unrelated to any items on the agenda, you may speak when the Mayor asks if there is anyone who would like to make an appearance before the Council on items not listed on the agenda.
