| Currently, there are three full-time and one part-time nuisance abatement officers which serve in this unit. They are responsible for animal control issues, litter, disabled vehicles, quality of life issues, and other health and nuisance abatement issues.
In 2011 the Nuisance Abatement Unit answered 346 calls for service, issued 1,493 warnings, and 241 summons for violations.
