Senior Maintenance Worker
The Parks and Recreation Department will be accepting applications for a full time Senior Maintenance Worker to work out of the Shawnee Park Sports Complex Division.
This position is responsible for supervising and performing maintenance for the Shawnee Park Sports Complex and future community center which will be located at Shawnee Park. Duties will include athletic field maintenance, building maintenance, mowing, trimming, other general grounds maintenance, event supervision, full-time and part-time staff supervision.
Applicant should have at least 3 years experience in personnel supervision, ball field and building maintenance, mowing equipment, tractors and pickup trucks. Must be available to work weekends, evening, late nights, early mornings and holidays. Must be able to work outdoors in all weather conditions, lift a minimum of 75 lbs, reach above, stoop, bend and climb a ladder a minimum of 15 ft. and comply with Missouri CDL requirements. Preference may be given to a high school graduate or equivalent.
Beginning hourly wage of $12.95 with standard benefit package.
