Home Fire Sprinklers

To demonstrate the effectiveness of home fire sprinklers, the Fire Department furnished two identical, neighboring homes in the 800-block of Cape Girardeau's Main Street. Local media and 50+ guests watched as a small fire was lit in each home in a trashcan, simulating any common cause of house fires.
