City Manager’s Office

The City Manager’s Office provides day-to-day administration of the City Government. City Manager Douglas K. Leslie serves as the City’s CEO, and oversees all the departments which carry out the policies and procedures set forth by the City Council.

The City Manager’s Office consists of City Clerk Gayle Conrad, CMC, MRCC; Assistant to the City Manager Heather Brooks; and Public Information Coordinator Michelle Hahn.

The City Clerk provides administrative support for the City Manager, the Mayor and the City Council. The Clerk prepares the City Council agendas, serves as the City’s official custodian of records, coordinates special projects, and oversees the City’s Special Event permitting process.

The Assistant to the City Manager also provides administrative support to the City Manager, the Mayor and the City Council. This person also coordinates special projects, supervises the Human Resources and Customer Service divisions and serves as the City’s representative to Old Town Cape.

The Public Information Manager provides administrative support for the City Manager, the Mayor and the City Council  as well. This person serves as a liaison to the media, coordinates the City’s Public and Educational Access Channels, maintains the City’s website, coordinates special projects, and serves as the City’s representative to the Cable Television Advisory Committee and the Public Awareness Advisory Board.
