Certificate of Appropriateness
Exterior changes to Local Historic Landmarks or property within a Local Historic District require a Certificate of Appropriateness. This process is only required to maintain the historical integrity of historic properties.
The deadline for submitting an application is three weeks prior to the Historic Preservation Commission meeting, which is the third Wednesday of each month. There is no fee associated with this application.

Local Historic District Application
A district may be nominated as a Local Historic District to preserve the historic integrity of the neighborhood.
The deadline for submitting an application is three weeks prior to the Historic Preservation Commission meeting, which is the third Wednesday of each month. There is a $126 publication fee associated with this application.

Local Historic Landmark Application
A property may be nominated as a Local Historic Landmark if it is fifty (50) years old or older.
The deadline for submitting an application is three weeks prior to the Historic Preservation Commission meeting, which is the third Wednesday of each month. There is a $126.00 publication fee associated with this application.
