City Council Meetings
The City Council of the City of Cape Girardeau meets on the first and third Monday of each month. A study session is held at 5 p.m., followed by the regular meeting at 7 p.m. Meetings are open to the public and are held at:

Monday, January 18, changed to Tuesday, January 19 - Martin Luther King, Jr. Day
Monday, February 15, changed to Tuesday, February 16 - President's Day
Monday, July 5, changed to Tuesday, July 6 - Independence Day Observed
Monday, September 6, changed to Tuesday, September 7 - Labor Day
